Rogue Amoeba je početom ove nedelje izdala update za svoj alat za audio snimanje, Audio Hijack Pro, donoseći trenutnu 2.9 verziju. Nova verzija uključuje nekoliko poboljšanja uključujući novi korisnički interfejs sa LCD statusom, kao i poboljšani Recording Bin. Recording Bin’s Inspector omogućava editovanje ID3 tagova, a takođe je dodata podrška i za Artwork tag. Update takođe popravlja i probleme vezane za potencijalni krah izazvan Mac OS X10.5.6 operativnim sistemom kao i različite minorne popravke bug-ova, navodi Amoeba Rogue. Planning to extend the capabilities of its upcoming Blu-Ray players beyond Netflix streaming, LG Electronics has now formed partnerships with Google’s YouTube and CinemaNow. Through the two deals, the standalone LG Blu players coming up in the first half of 2009 will also offer users access to both YouTube and CinemaNow’s massive catalogues of videos, all ready for streaming.
“From Blu-ray to instant streaming from Netflix to CinemaNow and YouTube, LG is bridging the gap between packaged media and video-on-demand services to provide entertainment solutions for consumers’ demand for content,” said Tim Alessi, director of product development, LG Electronics USA. “With these new alliances, LG continues its innovation leadership by allowing consumers easy access to multiple entertainment options in one device.”
LG’s CinemaNow and YouTube-enhanced Blu-Ray players are set to be showcased next week at CES 2009 in Las Vegas.
